Creating Data Documents, Main Documents, Mailing Labels, and Catalogs

In Word Mod 3, students create data documents, main documents, letters, mailing labels, and catalogs. Students also use macros, sort information, create forms, insert form fields, modify forms, create help messages, use online forms. 

Students need to be comfortable working with tables in Word before taking this Level 3 Merge, Macros & Forms class.

 

Creating Letters
Students view merged data records, create form letters and merge ranges of data records.
Using Windows Address Book and Outlook's Contacts
Students select existing data records to create form letters and labels.
Creating Forms
Students create new forms, organize forms using tables, and add field names.
Inserting Form Fields
Students learn how to insert text, check-box and drop-down form fields.
Modifying Forms
Students change fonts and column widths, enhance tables in forms and protect forms.
Using On-line Forms
Student work with entering data in on-line forms, and update calculation form fields.
