Mod 1 - Introduction
Getting Started with PowerPoint
Students start PowerPoint and open presentations, explore toolbars and menus, use the Office Assistant, work with slides in different views, manually run slide shows, and close presentations and exit PowerPoint.
Creating Presentations
Students create new presentations, add text to slides, add new slides and change slide layouts, select text, insert text boxes, and save presentations.
Editing Presentations
Students modify slides, move and copy text, delete text, find and replace text, modify bullets, and use numbering in slides.
Formatting Text
Students change text attributes, set indents and tabs, and change text alignment.
Printing Presentations
Students preview slides, print slides and change slide orientation, and print handouts.
Working with Proofing Tools
Students check spelling, change spelling options, check for style consistency, and use AutoCorrect.
Working with Objects
Students draw objects, modify objects, insert AutoShapes, and arrange objects.
Using WordArt and ClipArt
Students use WordArt, insert ClipArt, and recolor ClipArt.
Building Slide Shows
Students expand slides, use the Slide Finder, create summary slides, add transition effects, and add animation effects.
Running Slide Shows
Students hide slides, control slide shows, annotate slides, and use the PowerPoint viewer.
