Getting Started

A one-day hands-on class for students who have general knowledge of Windows and who need to learn the basics of creating, modifying and formatting Webs.  This class also teaches features such as hyperlinks in Webs, how to insert and manipulate images in Webs, design tables in Webs and publish and maintain Webs.

Students view a web site, tour the FrontPage interface, start FrontPage and open web pages, work with the views bar and folder list, and look at web pages in different views.
Creating Webs and Web Pages
Students design and develop webs, create webs, and add pages to a web.
Managing a Web with Tasks
Students manage the task list and update tasks.
Working with Text
Students add text to web pages, copy and move text, format text and create lists.
Modifying and Formatting Webs
Students add comments and time stamps to pages, rename pages, check spelling, make global changes, modify and apply styles, and work with themes.
Creating Hyperlinks
Students create links within a system, links to the Internet, and maintain hyperlinks.
