Reviewing the Basics
Using Names
Students will create cell names, use cell names in formulas, name formulas, check and list names and references, create 3-dimensional names, and work with ranges.
Working with Advanced Functions
Students use the VLOOKUP, IF, ROUND, COUNTA, and PMT functions.
Working Advanced Format Features
Students use advanced number formats (time, fraction, scientific, and customer number), as well as create, collapse, expand, and remove outlines.
Locating and Updating Data
Students will find and replace data, text, and numeric data, control recalculation and use automatic and manual recalculation.
Using Special Format and Print Options
Students learn about formatting zero values, changing the display of negative values and using print options.
Sharing Worksheet Data
Students import and export data to and from other applications, as well as create and update workbook links.
Protecting Worksheet Data
Students use cell notes, worksheet and range protection, and learn to unprotect cells, hide and display data, and assign and remove passwords.
Manipulating the Screen Display
Students work with multiple workbooks, freeze worksheet titles and work with toolbars.
Automating Your Work
Students use existing templates, create new templates and work with macros.
